Post Christmas Fatigue? Here’s how to beat it!
We know the feeling - we’ve eaten too much, drunk too much and we don’t know what day it is!
The post Christmas fatigue starts to kick in around now so here’s our top tips on how to beat it!
Fresh air is key!
We all spend a lot of time indoors over Christmas, it’s really important that we get as much fresh air as we can to clear the body and get energised. Even a 10 minute walk around the block can make all the difference.
2. Hydration
Dehydration is another common factor of festive celebrations, ensuring that you drink plenty of water and rehydrate the body after all the indulgence is a good way to reset and get back into good habits.
3. Cook balanced, nourishing meals
We often eat a lot of saturated food at Christmas which can make us feel less energised and more fatigued. Fuelling the body with meals that are healthy and balanced post Christmas will help you feel back to normal much quicker!
4. Getting moving again
We’re not saying you have to be straight back at the gym this week, but getting the body moving will help you to feel much less fatigued! Simple thinks like walking, stretching, maybe heading to an easy class, all of these things will help to reset the body and get you feeling energised again.
It doesn’t need to be intense exercise, just something that will get the muscles activated and the joints moving!
