What Should Be My Pre-Christmas Focus?
December is finally here! Whilst we are all excited to finally get going with some festive fun, it’s still good to be thinking about our fitness routine so that we stay as healthy and well as we can in the lead up to the big day!
If you’re unsure about what to focus on over the next few weeks, here’s some ideas for you…
Keep Yourself Moving
Whatever your plans are over December, keep moving! It’s so easy to sit still watching films or enjoying some chill out time, but it’s really essential that you keep your daily cardio up so that your muscles stay active and engaged.
This doesn’t have to be at the gym, you could head out for a walk wirh a friend, walk to the shops instead of drive - simple actions go a long way!
Try Not To Skip Sessions
We know how busy this month can be and that there will be extra commitments - however - if you can make the effort to stick to your usual sessions and classes, you will feel much better when it gets to Christmas and it won’t feel so hard returning in January!
Stretching is Key in December!
What with presents to wrap, cards to write and inevitably sat chatting with family and friends this month, you are bound to feel your body get tight and tense. Taking time out to stretch every day and release right muscles will be a real benefit to you over the next month - even 5 mins a day can make a big difference!
